JOINT YOUTH COMMISSION
The Joint Youth Commission (JYC), comprising members from the Villages of Lansing and Cayuga Heights and the Towns of Ithaca and Caroline, recommends the use of municipal funding for youth programs and prioritizes two broad areas for building skills in middle school and high school age youth:
The JYC currently funds The Learning Web, Cornell’s Cooperative Extension, Ithaca Youth Bureau’s Youth Employment Service, and the Coddington Road Community Center Camp.
