Village of Lansing Accomplishments
May 1997 through February 1998

Construction of a new addition to the Village Office, providing much needed
meeting space

Water main improvements along Uptown Road
-
The first phase of a three-year construction project to replace the elevated
water tank at the airport

Repaired more than one third of inflow and infiltration into the VIllage
sanitary sewer and pursued a modest increase in our available sewer capacity
-
Maintained 12 miles of Village roads in a safe and cost-effective manner
MOST IMPORTANTLY
-
Succeeded in getting the North Triphammer Road construction project into
the New York State Department of Transportation's improvement project list
making it eligible for 80% federal funding.

Made significant progress in developing a Comprehensive Plan for the VIllage
which is expected to be complete by summer 1998
