Village of Lansing

 

MINUTES of a meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Lansing held on Monday, July 21, 2008, in the Village Office.

 

Present: Mayor Donald Hartill; Trustees, Larry Fresinski, Lynn Leopold, and Julie Baker; Attorney David Dubow; Engineer David Putnam.

 

Mayor Hartill called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. and opened the public comment period. There were no comments.

 

                       Motion-To Close the Public Comment Period  

 

Trustee Fresinski moved to close the public comment period. Trustee Baker seconded the motion. A vote was taken:

Dave Putnam gave a brief engineers report and said that he had met one of the new owners of Northwood Apartments on the street, but there is no new news on their agreement to proceed with the dedication of Northwood Road to the Village.  When the Mayor asked about the Dart Drive design, Dave suggested that the Mayor contact Dave Herrick to get a time estimate and to establish better priority for the project.  There was also discussion regarding the possibility of meeting with Dart Drive residents for their input.

 

There was also a discussion regarding the status of the proposed new SCLIWC water tank to be constructed on Burdick Hill Road.

 

Finally, there was some discussion with both Dave Putnam and David Dubow about the sewer easement on the Bomax property and it was confirmed that the process is progressing well.  The expectation is that it will be complete in less than two weeks.

Trustee Fresinski moved for adjournment. Trustee Leopold seconded the motion. A vote was taken:
